We had an awesome breakfast at Boon Fly Cafe this morning! The restaurant is warm, inviting, friendly, and a good place to enjoy a meal for families, couples, and/or friends.
We started breakfast with a baker’s dozen of Boon Fly Cafe’s famous homemade donuts. They were fresh, doughy, and warm small donuts sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and serves in a cool little tin pail. Awesome start to a delicious breakfast!
Elizabeth had the Green Eggs and Ham for breakfast! Two poached eggs wrapped in a local farm produced ham and topped with a green cream sauce made with leeks and a hint of lime. All served on top of crispy hash browns, Elizabeth declared it the best breakfast she has ever had.
I also had a very enjoyable breakfast; Poppa Joe’s Eggs in a Hole. Griddled local made sour dough bread with 2 fried eggs in the center and served with choice of meat and hash browns. The bread came from a local Napa bakery. The bacon was cooked to perfection. I loved that most of the cured meats ate locally made which totally makes a difference to me.
