We are in Napa, California this week for some good drinking and eating! Tonight we had dinner at Ca’Momi at the Oxbow Market in downtown Napa. It was fantastic! This restaurant strives to use fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients while creating both classic and newer Italian dishes. Besides great, fresh food, the service was phenomenal. The server truly knew the menu and helped us with our food and wine.
We started with the Bresaola and Arugala (air cured beef with Arugala, a touch of lemon juice, and Parmesan Reggiano cheese). It was simple, fresh and perfectly seasoned.
Elizabeth started with the Arancini, (fried saffron rice balls, stuffed with a beef ragu, peas and cheese). They were awesome! Not too heavy and I love anything with peas (Elizabeth absolutely hates peas). She loved them though.

My wife had spinach and ricotta gnocchi. The gnocchi were more spinach than potato and were clearly made to order. My wife loved them!
